GHFEDS is excited to announce the availability of a grant intended to assist Special Education teachers and administrators with providing outstanding educational opportunities to children with special needs. As part of the inaugural presentation of funding to special educators in 2013 - 2014, GHFEDS created and presented two new education grants to special education teachers in our surrounding area. These grants, the Annalee Haas and Anna Dague Special Education Grants, will again be awarded for the upcoming school year. I have attached the application and proposal guidelines below. ANNALEE HAAS SPECIAL EDUCATION GRANTThe Annalee Haas Special Education Grant was founded in 2013 in honor of the daughter of Elizabeth Haas, co-founder and long-time board member of GHFEDS. This $1000 grant is permanently endowed and will be awarded annually.
