Dionysus Theatre

Dionysus - the inclusion theater.. For 15 years, Dionysus has entertained,
educated, empowered and enlightened. Dedicating our stage to actors with
disabilities and those who are non-disabled, Dionysus truly has changed
lives throughout Texas. With our main stage shows, inclusion theater
classses, youth theater touring troupe and summer camp, Dionysus has broken
down stereotypes and opened communication for people of all abilities. Using
the theater as our venue, Dionysus not only empowers our actors, but the
audiences as well.

We are offering classes for home school students this fall in collaboration
with the University of Houston Clear Lake campus.
Starting on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th for 8 weeks (1:15 - 2:30), Dionysus
will show our students that they CAN connect creatively
and allow their imaginations to soar. 

What is taught in our theater classes CAN be applied to everyday life.
Confidence, self-worth, problem solving, working with groups and finding a
voice is something of VALUE for all students - be they disabled or
non-disabled. Together. Dionysus IS the only truly inclusive theater in the
state of Texas.
