Join GCLFEDS and Bridging Apps for a 2.5 hour workshop on using mobile technology and apps as an education tool for children with special needs.

The speakers will be Betsy Furler, who is an experienced speech therapist and volunteers for BridgingApps. She has a ton of experience in schools, with children who have Down Syndrome, Autism, and has worked with multi-age kids. She has done many app reviews and is working on the curriculum for TCEA Mobile Devices Certification program. The other speaker is Sami Rahman, he is father of a 4 year old with Cerebral Palsy and the co-founder of BridgingApps. He also wrote the book "iPad for Special Needs" http://www.ipads4specialneedsbook.com/.

Registration is $10 for a family. Each registered family that attends the workshop will receive a $10 ITunes Gift Card.

Snacks will be provided. Children are welcome to attend, but separate child care will not be provided.

GHFEDS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit support organization serving the Greater Clear Lake area, including South Houston, Pearland, Pasadena, League City, Galveston, and other surrounding areas.
