**We will be selling the GHFEDS 2019 calendars for $10 each, cash or checks only.**
Everyone is welcome to dress in a costume.
GHFEDS would like to invite your family in celebrating World Down Syndrome Day!
We will be celebrating with a Silly Sock Dance on Saturday March 30th from 6-8pm at Verne Cox Multipurpose Recreation Center in Pasadena.
Wear your silly socks and dance the night away, we will be crowning a WDSD King and Queen who has the silliest socks, so be creative and express yourself !!
Entertainment includes DJ, dancing, basketball, games, and crafts.
Sandwiches, Chickfila nuggets, chips, veggie's, fruit, desserts and drinks will be served.
In honor of WDSD GHFEDS will donate $2500 for Down syndrome research to LuMind Foundation. The mission of LuMind Research Down Syndrome Foundation is to stimulate biomedical research that will accelerate the development of treatments to significantly improve cognition, including memory, learning and speech, for individuals with Down syndrome so they:
• participate more successfully in school
• lead more active and independent lives, and
• avoid the early onset of Alzheimer’s Disease.
