Monthly Meeting: Dr. Ostermaier - Down Syndrome Clinic

Dr Ostermaier will be the guest speaker at the GCLFEDS monthly meeting in May.  Dr. Ostermaier directs the Down Syndrome Clinic which is located at the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital.   She will be speaking on the following topics: 

• What is the Down Syndrome clinic and what to expect when you go there
• What are the most common things that pediatricians overlook in their care of children with DS
• Medical resources for patients with DS
• How to  manage common illnesses in children with Down Syndrome
