Parent Educational Meeting - Special Needs Planning

GHFEDS would like to invite you to our Parent Educational Meeting about Special Needs Planning presented by Kimberly Hegwood of Hegwood Law Group on Thursday May 3rd from 6-8pm at United Way in Clear Lake.

Dinner and childcare will be provided.

Dinner will start at 6pm and the meeting will start promptly at 630pm.

• How to make an effective plan for your child so you can rest easy knowing he or she will be cared for physically and financially when you're gone

• How to ensure you're working with the right legal and financial advisors for your child…and how to avoid being taken advantage of in the process
• Critical steps in protecting a child with special needs should the parent ever become incapacitated or unable to care for them on a short-term OR long-term basis.
• How to set up a long-term support system for an individual with life-long disabilities…which is critical to the quality of their overall care.
