Sailing Angels

Ahoy Matey!

GHFEDS would like to invite your family to sail with Sailing Angels this summer, all ages welcomed.

The Sailing Angels Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, based in the Greater Houston area.   As an opportunity for education and recreational therapy, we introduce the joy of sailing to special children with cognitive, physical or emotional needs or chronic illnesses. The special participants are encouraged to work on the boat to the best of their abilities.

Sailing Angels Policies

Maximum 6 people per boat.
The sailing trip will be 2-2.5 hours long, apply sunscreen prior to arrival and bring along for the trip.
No food allowed, drinks allowed but No red drinks, water will be provided by Sailing Angels.
Life jackets will be provided.
Waiver must be signed and bring with you upon arrival.

You must arrive 30 minutes prior to sailing, boat will leave promptly at designated time.
You must provide Name, Age, and Weight of each child when registering due to life jacket size and Sailing Certificate.
Further instructions will be sent prior to sailing.

Dates & Times

May 10th - Open for families that homeschool or have graduated high school only. Sailing at 10am with maximum 12 people & 1pm maximum 12 people.

June 17th - Open for all. Sailing at 10am with maximum 12 people.

June 24th - Open for all. Sailing at 10am with maximum 18 people.

July 22nd - Open for all. Sailing at 10am with maximum 18 people.

August 16th - Open for all. Sailing at 10am with maximum 12 people.

ONE REGISTRATION PER FAMILY
Registration is limited to maximum people per date and will close once limit is reached, if there are openings after limit is reached then registration will reopen until maximum people have been reached.
