This social is for adults with Down syndrome ages 18 and up, no siblings please, parents may drop off or stay.
GHFEDS would like to invite adults with Down syndrome ages 18 and up to be a chef and learn how to make deserts.

They will be making Gluten Free and Dairy Free organic deserts.
Dinner will Not be served, please eat prior to arriving.
Limited to 10 adults with Down syndrome, registration will close once limit is reached.
GHFEDS would like to invite your family for a Spooktacular Halloween Dance Party on Saturday, October 20th from 6-9pm at Verne Cox Multipurpose Center in Pasadena.
Have your pumpkins wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy ghost and goblin dancing, black cat crafts, spider web pizza, bat snacks, witches brew drinks, and trick or treating.
Be creative with your costumes, there will be a Creepy Crawly Costume Contest!
GHFEDS would like to invite the Siblings for a Sib Social at Top Golf on Monday October 22nd from 6-8pm.
Appetizers and drinks included.
This social is for siblings only ages 8 and up and Not the individual with Down syndrome. The siblings will discuss the joys and challenges of having a sibling with Down syndrome. Parents may drop off or stay.
GHFEDS would like to invite kids with Down syndrome ages 5-14 and their family for a social at Jump N Jungle in Clear Lake.

GHFEDS would like to invite you to our Parent Educational Meeting about Texas Medicaid Waivers Explained and Attendant Care presented by Heather Burdeaux.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday November 13th from 6-8pm at United Way in Clear Lake. The meeting will be held in Room 133 and childcare in Room 133 but in a separate room from the meeting. Dinner will be served at 6pm and the meeting will start promptly at 630pm.
Heather Burdeaux is a CLASS Medicaid-waiver case manager, STAP vendor, and mom of 2 children with Down syndrome. She will speak about various ways to access Medicaid and attendant care.
We will be serving sandwiches for parents and chicken nuggets and Gluten Free grilled chicken nuggets for children, chips, fruit and veggie tray, cookies and drinks.
